Fishing Report

May 6-14: We are catching about 30-40 bass per day, up to 40 pounds. Fluke fishing is also good, as we are averaging about 40 fluke, with some keepers mixed in.

May 19-25: We are catching many bass every day, and the fluking is getting better with more and more keepers every day.

May 26-29: Bass fishing is as good as it gets. Fluke fishing getting even better than the week before! We have had catches of up to 100 fish, with lots of shorts mixed in.

June 1-4: Bass fishing is still good, the blue fish are starting to move in. Fluke fishing is staying steady.

June 4-11: Bass fishing is very good. Blue fish are starting to move in, but we are still able to get our limit plus more. Fluke fishing is excellent, our biggest fluke so far was 30 inches and 11 pounds!

June 11-18: Bass fishing is staying steady, with lots of blues. Fluke fishing is very good, we are catching 50-100 per day with some keepers mixed in.

June 18-25: Fishing is staying steady.

July: Bass fishing is excellent, getting our limit every day with bass up to 45 pounds! We are also catching some bluefish along with the bass. Flounder fishing is also very good. We are catching as many as 100 per day with some keepers mixed in. Still a lot of throw-backs.

August 1-24: Bass fishing very good still, the biggest being around 50 pounds. Catching 25-35 a day with bluefish mixed in, we are done bass fishing at around 10am . Fluke fishing still good, sea bass fishing is excellent right now, we are catching about 75 per day. Sea bass should be around until about October. Big scup are also present with the sea bass.

September 1-20: Bass fishing is still very good, we are getting our limit every day with fish up to 45 pounds. After the bass limit is reached we go sea bass fishing which is also excellent, we catch around 75-120 per day! Plus 50 or 60 scup. The scup and sea bass will be very good all through October.

November 1st: We start fishing for blackfish (Call for special dates and prices)!

November 2-10: Black fishing has been very good with a few bass mixed in. The weather has been quite a problem but on the days we were able to get out the fishing was great!

November-: November has been very good for blackfish so far. We have had no trouble getting our limit every day, with lots of throwbacks. We are quitting on Dec. 3rd. Biggest blackfish so far this year was 15 pounds 30 inches, we also had a 12 pounder (see photo).
